Stewart-Buchanan Gauges Overclad, Glasgow

The Project

The circa 40 year old, 2000m2 asbestos roof at Stewart-Buchanan Gauges, a designer and manufacturer of bespoke gauges, was exhibiting significant leaks from the gutters and skylights.

Starfish, using their in-house design team came up with a number of options to remedy the situation. The client opted for an over-clad of the existing asbestos roof, which included new rooflights and guttering system.

The new solution, backed by a 15 year guarantee, also included the removal of an asbestos wall which was replaced with a new composite wall panel system.
